GEMFEST 2027 – TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket and attending GemFest 2027, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
1. TICKETS, ADMISSION & GENERAL CONDITIONS
1.1 By booking, purchasing, or holding a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”), which incorporate and should be read alongside the terms and conditions of our official ticketing partners, including but not limited to Skiddle, FIXR, Resident Advisor and Fatsoma.
1.2 The Organiser (“GemFest”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) means GEMFESTIVAL LTD and/or its representatives, employees, and subcontractors.
1.3 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time where reasonably necessary, including for legal, safety, operational, or regulatory reasons. Updated versions will be published on the GemFest website and shall take effect immediately upon publication.
1.4 Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, travel disruption, or personal circumstances, unless the Event is cancelled in full (see Section 2: Refunds). Tickets may be transferred to another person through your ticket provider’s system — please contact your ticket agent directly to arrange transfers.
1.5 For tickets purchased through Skiddle, tickets will be dispatched close to the Event date and only once full payment (including any payment plan instalments) has been received. You should expect to receive your ticket no later than 7 days before the festival starts. For other ticket agents (e.g. FIXR, Resident Advisor, Fatsoma), ticket delivery and access will follow their own processes as advised at the point of purchase.
1.6 Tickets are valid only for the Event itself. Billed artists, performance times, attractions, site programming, and other advertised features are subject to change without notice due to operational, production, weather-related, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to artist cancellations, travel disruption, technical issues, and safety considerations.
1.7 Only valid tickets and wristbands will be accepted at the entrance. Tickets for parking passes must be exchanged at the entrance for an official Parking Pass, which must be clearly displayed in the vehicle's windscreen at all times while on site. See Section 3 for full ticket and wristband conditions.
1.8 Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event and should not be removed. If a wristband becomes damaged, you must present it at the on-site Box Office, where it may be exchanged for a new one at the Organiser's discretion.
Any wristband that is removed, tampered with, cut, stretched, transferred, or altered in any way will be void.
1.9 Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband during designated hours only.
Re-entry hours will be published on the GemFest website and customer information pages prior to the Event.
1.10 Car parking is permitted only in designated areas, and vehicles are not permitted within the campsite unless specifically authorised. See Section 13 (Car Parking) and Section 14 (Campervans) for full conditions, including the definition of "Campervan" for these purposes.
Standard cars, vans, or vehicles not meeting the above definition are not classed as campervans and will not be permitted within the campsite, even if the occupants intend to sleep in the vehicle.
All campervans and vehicles entering with a Campervan Pass must adhere to the event’s vehicle safety checks and pitch allocation procedures.
All vehicles entering the site are subject to search. Vehicles parked outside designated areas, abandoned, or deemed unsafe may be removed at the owner’s expense.
1.11 Admission to the Event is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The Organiser accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, damage, injury, illness, or other claim arising from attendance at the Event, including loss of or damage to personal property, vehicles, camping equipment, or other belongings, except where caused by the Organiser’s negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits the Organiser’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
1.12 The Organiser reserves the right to:
Refuse admission or remove any person from site without refund for reasons including (but not limited to) intoxication, unsafe or antisocial behaviour, hate speech, harassment, discrimination, crowd surfing or moshing, or any breach of these T&Cs.
Impose restrictions or conditions before and during the Event to ensure safety. Attendees must comply with all reasonable instructions given by Event staff, stewards, and security.
1.13 No unauthorised trading, commercial, or promotional activity is permitted on site. Goods bearing the GemFest name or branding that are sold without permission may be confiscated and the trader evicted.
1.14 By entering the site, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded, including by CCTV, for security and promotional purposes. See Section 18 (Media Policy) for full details, and our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.x
Personal data collected through CCTV or security processes will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
1.15 No unauthorised buses, coaches, or vehicles will be allowed on site.
1.16 For accessibility arrangements, including mobility scooter approvals and sensory considerations such as pyrotechnics, lasers, or strobe lighting, see Section 5 (Accessibility).
1.17 GemFest accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from third-party traders.
1.18 Any person found causing damage to the site, facilities, equipment, or property (including graffiti, vandalism with marker pens, or other deliberate damage) will be removed from the Event and held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. The Organiser reserves the right to recover these costs directly from the individual and/or pursue legal action.
1.19 The names and marks "GemFest" and the GemFest logo are trademarks of GEMFESTIVAL LTD and may not be used without prior written consent.
1.20 These T&Cs are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
1.21 The Event is strictly 18+ only. All ticket holders must be 18 years of age or older on or before the date the Event commences. Valid photographic ID may be required as proof of age on entry. Anyone found to be under 18 will be refused admission without refund.
1.22 All persons entering the Event may be subject to searches of their person, bags, camping equipment, and vehicles. Refusal to comply with searches may result in refusal of entry or removal from site without refund.
1.23 The Organiser shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, interruption, or changes to the Event resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, government action, industrial disputes, epidemics, pandemics, terrorism, or civil unrest.
2. REFUNDS
2.1 Tickets for GemFest are non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances set out below. Tickets may only be transferred to another person through the official ticket agent’s system. Please contact your ticket provider directly for assistance with transfers.
2.2 Refunds will only be considered if:
(i) The Event is cancelled in full and not rescheduled (in the case of partial cancellation, refunds will be proportionate); or
(ii) The Event is materially altered (a “material alteration” being, acting reasonably in the Organiser’s opinion, a change which makes the Event materially different to that which ticket purchasers, taken generally, could reasonably expect). The following shall not constitute a material alteration: changes to the line-up, changes to individual artists or band members, adverse weather conditions, delays to start times, alterations to set times, or curtailment where the majority of the Event has taken place; or
(iii) In exceptional cases, at the sole discretion of GEMFESTIVAL LTD.
2.3 Any refund requests must be made by the original purchaser of the ticket.
2.4 Refunds of booking fees or order fees are subject to the terms and conditions of the ticket agent.
2.5 Refund requests must be submitted to the point of purchase within 28 days after the Event.
2.6 Personal arrangements relating to the Event, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, and subsistence, are made at your own risk. GemFest accepts no responsibility for any indirect or consequential losses, including wasted travel or accommodation costs, beyond any refund payable under these Terms & Conditions.
2.7 GemFest reserves the right to alter the Event programme, timings, date, duration, or venue where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, industrial disputes, government action, safety or security concerns, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or decisions made by emergency services, local authorities, or other competent authorities.
Such changes shall not entitle ticket holders to a refund unless the change constitutes a material alteration in accordance with clause 2.2.
3. TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS
3.1 Tickets for GemFest should be purchased through authorised ticket agents or GemFest's official resale platform. We strongly recommend using these official channels for any ticket resale, as GemFestival Ltd cannot verify or guarantee the authenticity of tickets bought elsewhere.
3.2 Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual through the official ticket agent’s platform, subject to their terms and any applicable fees. Tickets without a genuine name will not be permitted entry.
3.3 Each ticket contains a unique barcode that will be scanned upon entry. Once scanned, a ticket cannot be reused. If a ticket is found to be duplicated, whether in error or for fraudulent gain, only the first scan will be admitted. Any subsequent scans will be denied entry. Individuals found deliberately duplicating or reselling tickets for fraudulent gain may be refused entry, evicted, prosecuted, and banned from future events.
3.4 Tickets must be exchanged for an official festival wristband upon first entry. No re-entry on tickets. Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, or resold.
3.5 Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event and are required for access to the festival site, arena, and campsite. Only wristbands issued by GemFest in exchange for a valid ticket are valid for entry.
3.6 Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband during designated hours only.
Re-entry hours will be published on the GemFest website and customer information pages prior to the Event.
3.7 Tickets and wristbands remain the property of GEMFESTIVAL LTD until the Event closes. Lost, stolen, damaged, or tampered tickets and wristbands may be invalidated and may not be replaced at the Organiser’s discretion.
3.8 Tickets or wristbands obtained in breach of these T&Cs shall be void, and all rights conferred shall be null and void. Attempting to gain entry using a void ticket or wristband may result in refusal of entry, eviction, and possible legal action. Void tickets/wristbands are non-refundable.
3.9 Tickets and wristbands cannot be used as part of any marketing, media, or sales promotion without the prior written consent of GEMFESTIVAL LTD.
3.10 Ticket holders should expect queues at entry, security searches, and wristband exchange, and should allow sufficient time for arrival. Refunds will not be issued for missed acts, delayed entry, or late arrival.
3.11 Any ticket purchased using fraudulent payment methods, chargebacks, or unauthorised payment disputes may be cancelled without notice and rendered invalid for entry.
4. TICKET TYPES
4.1 A Weekend Camping Thursday Entry Ticket (including payment plan tickets) permits entry from Thursday 17th June – Sunday 20th June 2027.
4.2 A Weekend Camping Friday Entry Ticket (including deposit tickets) permits entry from Friday 18th June – Sunday 20th June 2027.
4.3 Tickets purchased through a payment plan or deposit scheme must be paid in full by the advertised deadline to remain valid. Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund of any amounts paid.
4.4 Add-on products, including but not limited to car parking passes, campervan passes, upgrades, premium access products, and accommodation add-ons, are valid only when purchased alongside a valid Event ticket unless otherwise stated. All add-ons are subject to availability and may be subject to separate terms where applicable.
4.5 Campervan access is only permitted with a valid Campervan Pass and a valid Event ticket for each occupant. Campervan passes are limited, subject to availability, and apply to one permitted vehicle or accommodation unit only, subject to the Event’s campervan policies.
4.6 A Glamping Add-On includes access to the Pampa Area, the same as that provided by a Pampa Upgrade.
5. ACCESSIBILITY
5.1 All access-related applications and requests, including but not limited to Personal Assistant tickets, accessible campsite bookings, mobility scooter approvals, and other accessibility arrangements, must be submitted no later than Monday 17th May 2027..
5.2 Applications or requests received after this deadline will still be considered where reasonably possible; however, GemFest cannot guarantee they will be processed, approved, or accommodated in time for the Event.
5.3 Access arrangements are subject to availability, eligibility, and approval by the GemFest Access Team. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or access to requested facilities.
5.4 Mobility scooters must be declared in advance with the Access Team. A condition of use disclaimer must be signed, and scooters must be operated safely within a busy festival environment.
5.5 Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting, and other special effects may be used during performances. Please speak to the Access Team in advance if you have photosensitivity or other sensory concerns.
5.6 Exposure to loud and excessive music may damage hearing. Please wear hearing protection.
5.7 Accessible parking is available for approved customers only and must be arranged in advance through the GemFest Access Team.
6. PERSONAL ASSISTANT TICKET
6.1 Deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent customers who are unable to attend GemFest without support from another person may apply for a Personal Assistant (PA) ticket. PA tickets are intended only for customers whose support needs are such that they would be unable to attend the Event independently.
6.2 PA tickets are provided at no additional cost once an access application has been approved. A PA ticket can only be issued once the lead access customer has purchased their own Festival Entry ticket and supplied relevant supporting documents as proof of eligibility.
6.3 The PA ticket will mirror the lead access customer’s access level and ticket type. Where applicable, this includes equivalent access to upgrades such as Pampa, or Glamping.
Where the lead access customer has booked accommodation or upgrade products, the PA may be required to share or remain with the lead customer within the same designated area, subject to the terms of that product.
6.4 The PA will receive an e-ticket in their own name and may be asked to provide valid ID on entry. Both the access customer and the PA should, where possible, arrive together at the festival site.
6.5 Personal Assistants must be aged 18 or over.
6.6 Where the lead customer's Festival Entry ticket is being paid via instalments, the PA ticket will only be issued once the full balance has been paid.
6.7 Applications for PA tickets close on Monday 17th May 2027. Name changes on PA tickets must be completed by Friday 28th May 2027.
6.8 If the lead access customer transfers their own ticket to another person, the linked PA ticket will automatically be cancelled. If the new ticket holder has access requirements, they will need to make a new PA application with supporting evidence.
6.9 PA tickets cannot be sold, resold, transferred, or used independently of the associated lead access customer’s Festival ticket. Any misuse may result in cancellation of both tickets without refund and refusal of entry.
6.10 GemFest reserves the right to review, refuse, revoke, or withdraw PA ticket approval at any time where eligibility criteria are not met or where false, misleading, or incomplete information has been provided.
7. INSTALMENT TICKETS – PAYMENT PLANS
7.1 Payment plans may be available through selected ticket providers, allowing customers to spread the cost of eligible ticket purchases over instalments. Payment plan availability, eligibility, instalment schedules, and payment methods may vary depending on the ticket provider and purchase method.
7.2 All instalments must be paid in full in order to secure your ticket(s). Failure to complete payments in accordance with the relevant ticket provider’s terms may result in cancellation of your ticket(s) without refund.
7.3 Payment plan purchases are non-cancellable by the customer, and all payments made are non-refundable except in the case of a qualifying refund under Section 2 (Refunds).
7.4 GemFest accepts no responsibility for payment failures, declined transactions, or technical issues arising from third-party payment providers or ticketing platforms.
8. CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM
8.1 GemFest 2027 is a cashless event.
8.2 All points of sale on site will accept contactless card and approved mobile payment methods only. Cash will not be accepted anywhere on site.
8.3 By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you acknowledge and accept that all on-site transactions will operate via the Event’s cashless payment system only and agree to comply with the use of the cashless payment system throughout the Event.
8.4 GemFest accepts no responsibility for payment failures, declined transactions, connectivity issues, or temporary interruptions to cashless payment services caused by third-party payment providers, banks, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
9. DAMAGE / LOSSES
9.1 Attendance at the Event is at your own risk. GemFest accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, damage, injury, illness, or other claim arising from attendance at the Event, including loss of or damage to personal property, except where caused directly by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9.2 Any person found causing damage to the site, facilities, infrastructure, or property (including but not limited to graffiti or vandalism with marker pens, paint, or other materials) may be removed from the Event and held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. We reserve the right to recover these costs directly from the individual and/or pursue legal action.
9.3 Climbing, standing, or otherwise accessing barriers, fencing, staging, lighting rigs, production structures, or other Event infrastructure without authorisation is strictly prohibited. Any person doing so may be removed from the site without refund.
9.4 You are solely responsible for your own property and personal belongings at all times. Valuables should not be left unattended.
9.5 GemFest accepts no responsibility for items confiscated, surrendered, lost, or abandoned on site, unless required by law.
10. GATE SEARCHES AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
10.1 All persons entering the Event are subject to searches. This may include searches of clothing, bags, camping equipment, personal belongings, and vehicles at entry points or within the festival site. Refusal to comply with searches may result in refusal of entry or removal from site without refund.
10.2 All relevant UK laws relating to the possession, use, and supply of controlled substances apply within the festival site. GemFest operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards the possession, use, or supply of illegal drugs, nitrous oxide, new psychoactive substances (NPS), and the misuse of prescription medication. From November 2023, nitrous oxide (NOS) is a Class C drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, and possession or supply may result in arrest or prosecution.
Any person found in possession of, using, or suspected of supplying prohibited substances may be refused entry, removed from site without refund, and may be reported to the police.
GemFest works closely with its security team, medical teams, and local authorities to maintain a safe, legal, and supportive environment for all attendees, staff, contractors, and suppliers.
10.3 CBD products: Only commercially packaged and sealed CBD products with clear labelling of CBD and THC content will be permitted. Any products that are unsealed, unlabelled, or suspected of containing prohibited substances will be confiscated. This policy may be updated in line with Government guidance.
10.4 Prescribed medication must be declared at entry where requested. Medication should be carried in reasonable quantities, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid prescription or supporting documentation in the ticket holder’s name.
10.5 The following items are strictly prohibited anywhere on site, including campsites, arenas, parking areas, and all access-controlled zones:
Illegal drugs, nitrous oxide, and any psychoactive substances
Paint spray cans, permanent markers, or other items intended for graffiti or vandalism
Knives or bladed articles (including locking knives)
Glass bottles or containers (except small make-up/perfume bottles)
Fireworks, explosives, flares, smoke or gas canisters, and air horns
Weapons, imitation weapons, or anything that could reasonably be considered an offensive weapon
Laser devices or laser pens
Large or professional sound systems, PA equipment, subwoofers, or similar audio setups
Gas stoves, barbecues, or any type of gas canisters
Generators or chemical toilets (except fixed in approved live-in vehicles)
Sky lanterns, paraffin lamps, or candles
Drones, UAVs, or remote-controlled devices
High-visibility clothing/tabards (unless authorised)
Payment systems such as PDQ or EPOS devices
Animals (except registered assistance dogs, which must be declared in advance to the Access Team)
10.6 Alcohol Policy:
You may bring alcohol on first entry to the campsite only.
Limits per person:
10 x 440ml cans of lager, cider, or beer, OR
12 x 250ml cans of premixed spirits, OR
1 x 3-litre box of wine.
No spirits, hard liquor, or glass bottles are permitted.
Alcohol cannot be brought into the arena.
10.7 Speakers and sound systems: Small portable personal speakers are permitted in the campsite at a reasonable volume. Large speakers, PA systems, subwoofers, or professional audio equipment are strictly prohibited. Staff and security have sole discretion acting reasonably to decide what is unacceptable. Vehicles fitted with large sound systems may be refused entry or required to disable equipment.
10.8 Camping rules at search:
Gazebos are permitted in campsites, provided they do not block fire lanes or create a safety risk. Unsafe or oversized structures may be removed by staff.
Camping stoves, barbecues, or gas canisters are not permitted anywhere on site.
10.9 Amnesty bins will be provided at entry points. Ticket holders will be given the opportunity to dispose of prohibited items before passing through searches. Once inside, anyone found in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry or removed from the site. Confiscated items will not be returned.
10.10 Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted inside enclosed tents, arenas, or other designated No Smoking areas. E-cigarette liquid must be in sealed containers.
10.11 This list is not exhaustive. GemFest reserves the right to confiscate any item which, acting reasonably, is deemed to pose a safety risk, security risk, or nuisance to the Event or its attendees.
10.12 Any person found in possession of prohibited items or substances, using prohibited substances, or suspected of supplying or distributing prohibited items or substances may be refused entry, removed from site without refund, and reported to the police where appropriate.
11. AGE POLICY
11.1 GemFest is a strictly 18+ event. No persons under the age of 18 will be admitted under any circumstances, even if accompanied by an adult.
11.2 A Challenge 25 policy operates at all entry gates and bars. If you appear under the age of 25, you may be required to present valid, in-date photographic ID to prove you are aged 18 or over.
11.3 Accepted forms of ID are:
A valid passport
A valid photographic driving licence or provisional licence
A valid PASS-accredited proof of age card
11.4 Photocopies, screenshots, digital copies, or expired documents will not be accepted.
11.5 All attendees must be aged 18 or over on the date of their first entry to the Event.
11.6 Any person under the age of 18 who purchases a ticket will be refused entry and will not be entitled to a refund.
11.7 ID checks may be carried out at entry gates and bars for age verification purposes. Failure to present valid ID when requested may result in refusal of entry or refusal of service without refund.
11.8 Use of fraudulent, borrowed, altered, or fake identification may result in refusal of entry, removal from site, and confiscation of the ID where permitted by law.
12. SHUTTLE BUS
12.1 GemFest operates a shuttle bus service between Chippenham railway station and the festival site for customers holding a valid Shuttle Bus ticket.
12.2 A valid Shuttle Bus ticket must be presented to board the service.
12.3 Each Shuttle Bus customer is permitted one bag or suitcase per person, plus up to three items of camping equipment (including a tent), provided all items are reasonably sized and can be carried by the customer without assistance. Festival trolleys and oversized luggage are not permitted on the Shuttle Bus service.
12.4 Customers must comply with the shuttle operator’s luggage and boarding policies at all times. Large, unsafe, or excessively heavy items may be refused at the operator’s discretion.
12.5 Wristbands will only be issued at the festival entrance gates, not on the shuttle bus. You must present your valid entry ticket at the gate to receive your wristband.
12.6 Travel on the Shuttle Bus service is at your own risk. GemFest accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, damage, injury, illness, delay, or missed connections arising from use of the Shuttle Bus service, except where caused directly by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
12.7 Customers are responsible for arriving at the departure point in sufficient time for boarding. GemFest accepts no responsibility for missed departures due to late arrival.
12.8 GemFest and the shuttle operator reserve the right to refuse travel to any customer who is intoxicated, abusive, unsafe, or behaving in a manner likely to cause disruption or risk to others.
13. CAR PARKING
13.1 Car Parking Passes must be purchased in advance unless otherwise stated. Passes may also be available to purchase on arrival, subject to availability. A valid pass must be presented and scanned upon arrival at the car park. Vehicles without a valid pass may be refused entry to the parking areas.
13.2 Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner's risk. GemFest accepts no liability for theft, loss, or damage to vehicles or their contents.
13.3 Parking is allocated on arrival and is not pre-designated unless otherwise stated. All vehicles must park only in designated areas as directed by stewards or Event staff.
13.4 Accessible parking is available for approved customers only and must be arranged in advance through the GemFest Access Team. A valid Car Parking Pass and approved accessible parking documentation may be required on arrival. Vehicles without prior approval may not be permitted access to the accessible parking area.
13.5 All vehicles must vacate the festival site by the published vehicle exit deadline on the final day of the Event unless otherwise authorised. Any vehicles left beyond this time may be removed at the owner's expense.
13.6 All vehicles entering the festival site are subject to search. Refusal to comply with vehicle searches may result in refusal of entry without refund.
13.7 Vehicles are not permitted to be driven into or parked within the campsite unless specifically authorised (for example, Campervan Pass holders).
14. CAMPERVANS
14.1 For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, a "Campervan" includes: any converted van designed or adapted for sleeping or living in; any towable caravan or trailer designed for accommodation; and any car fitted with a roof tent or tent box designed for overnight camping. Standard cars, vans, or vehicles not meeting the above definition are not classed as campervans and will not be permitted within the campsite, even if the occupants intend to sleep in the vehicle.
14.2 Each person staying in a campervan must hold a valid Festival Entry Ticket.
14.3 A Campervan Pass must be purchased for each vehicle. One vehicle is permitted per Campervan Upgrade Ticket. Drivers of towing vehicles must also hold a valid Festival Entry Ticket.
14.4 Campervans, caravans, trailer tents, and towing vehicles must fit entirely within a 7m x 5m pitch allocation unless otherwise stated. If additional space is required, an additional pitch must be purchased in advance, subject to availability.
14.5 Once parked, vehicles must remain static. Any attempt to move a vehicle during the Event may result in eviction from site without refund.
14.6 No tents may be erected in the Campervan Field for fire safety reasons. Small awnings are permitted provided they do not obstruct fire lanes or reduce the required distance between vehicles. Awnings pitched in fire lanes will be removed.
14.7 Stewards will direct vehicles to their pitches. You must follow all steward instructions and keep fire lanes clear at all times.
14.8 Trading from campervans or caravans is strictly prohibited and may result in eviction from the Event.
14.9 Sound systems are not permitted in the Campervan Field. Personal speakers may be used at a reasonable volume, but large speakers, subwoofers, or PA systems are strictly prohibited.
14.10 Gas that is built-in to the campervan for onboard cooking/heating is permitted, provided it complies with all relevant safety regulations. Disposable gas canisters, travel stoves, and barbecues are not permitted.
14.11 There is no electrical hook-up provided, and generators are not permitted.
14.12 Litter must be cleared from your pitch before leaving. Please use bins provided or take waste home.
14.13 All vehicles must vacate the festival site by the published exit deadline on the final day of the Event unless otherwise authorised. Any vehicles remaining beyond this time may be removed at the owner's expense.
14.14 Chemical waste should be disposed of off-site by the vehicle owner. An Elsan point is also available on site within the live-in vehicles area, subject to availability. Anyone found disposing of waste improperly will be evicted and may face further action.
14.15 All campervans, caravans, trailer tents, and associated vehicles are subject to search and safety inspection upon entry. Refusal to comply may result in refusal of entry without refund.
14.16 GemFest reserves the right to reposition vehicles, awnings, or equipment where necessary to maintain fire safety distances, access routes, or site safety requirements.
15. GLAMPING
15.1 Glamping packages must be purchased in advance through the official GemFest ticketing platform.
15.2 Festival Entry Tickets are not included with Glamping packages and must be purchased separately. Each person staying in a bell tent must hold a valid Festival Entry Ticket.
15.3 A valid Glamping Add-On must be purchased alongside a valid Festival Entry Ticket to access the Glamping area. Glamping wristbands will be issued for access to the Glamping area and any associated access-controlled zones and are strictly non-transferable.
Glamping packages may include additional upgrades or access benefits, including VIP or Pampa access, as specified at the time of purchase.
15.4 Guests must check out and vacate their accommodation by the published check-out deadline on the final day of the Event unless otherwise stated. Failure to vacate on time may result in additional charges.
15.5 Bell tents are suitable for camping. Furnishings, amenities, and facilities vary by package and will be as specified at the time of booking.
15.6 The use of cooking equipment, gas appliances, barbecues, naked flames, or open fires inside or near the accommodation is strictly prohibited.
15.7 The Glamping area may include a reception or staffed support point; however, GemFest cannot guarantee the security of personal belongings. Guests remain responsible for securing their possessions at all times.
15.8 The lead booker is responsible for the condition of the accommodation and its contents for the duration of the booking. Any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or repair costs beyond reasonable wear and tear may be charged to the lead booker following the Event.
15.9 Use of Glamping accommodation is at the guest’s own risk. GemFest and its glamping providers accept no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, injury, or illness arising from use of the accommodation, except where caused directly by negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
15.10 Glamping packages are non-refundable except where a refund is permitted under Section 2 (Refunds) of these Terms & Conditions.
15.11 Guests must behave respectfully within the Glamping area and avoid excessive noise, disruption, or antisocial behaviour. GemFest reserves the right to remove any guest from the Glamping area for misconduct without refund.
15.12 Tent allocation is managed by GemFest or its glamping provider and specific tent locations cannot be guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in advance.
16. PRIVATE HIRE COACHES & GROUP VEHICLES
16.1 All private hire coaches, minibuses, and group vehicles of any size must use the designated pick-up and drop-off area at the festival site. Drivers must follow all instructions given by traffic marshals, stewards, and festival staff.
16.2 Pick-ups and drop-offs on public roads surrounding the festival site are strictly prohibited for safety reasons. Stopping on surrounding roads may create significant danger to passengers, pedestrians, and other road users.
16.3 Pick-ups and drop-offs must be completed promptly. Vehicles are not permitted to wait, park, or idle in the designated area beyond the time reasonably required to safely unload or collect passengers and luggage.
16.4 There are no facilities for coaches or minibuses to park or take breaks on site. Any driver requiring a statutory rest break must do so away from the festival site.
16.5 GemFest accepts no responsibility or liability for delays, cancellations, service failures, or costs incurred in connection with private hire transport, coach operators, or other third-party transport providers.
16.6 GemFest reserves the right to refuse access to any vehicle not complying with traffic management procedures or staff instructions.
17. LOST PROPERTY
17.1 Lost Property at GemFest is managed at the Information Point on site. Please report all lost items here as soon as possible and check before leaving the festival to be reunited with your belongings if they are found.
17.2 All found property must also be handed in to the Information Point.
17.3 After the festival, customers may contact GemFest via this form regarding lost items. A documented list of items will be maintained, and any matching property will be checked against enquiries.
17.4 If your property is located after the Event, arrangements for return and postage may be made via Foundbase. Any packaging, postage, handling, or associated return fees will be charged in accordance with Foundbase’s applicable fees and charges.
17.5 Found items will be kept by GemFest for up to 28 days following the Event. After this period, unclaimed items will be donated to charity or disposed of securely. All reasonable efforts will be made to reunite items with their owners before this takes place.
17.6 GemFest accepts no responsibility for personal property that is lost, stolen, or damaged at the Event. All belongings are brought onto site at your own risk.
18. MEDIA POLICY
18.1 By entering the Festival site, you grant GemFest and its authorised partners permission to use your image, likeness, voice, or appearance in any live or recorded audio, visual, or photographic content for security, publicity, marketing, or promotional purposes in any media worldwide, without payment or compensation.
18.2 Filming and photography are permitted throughout the public site for personal use only. All attendees are expected to be respectful, observe data protection law, and ask permission before taking close-up photographs or videos of others.
18.3 Commercial filming or photography is strictly prohibited without the prior written approval of GemFest. This includes filming or photography for sponsored content, advertising, or resale. Anyone found using images or footage for commercial purposes without permission may have their equipment confiscated and risk eviction from the Festival.
18.4 Harassment through photography or filming is not tolerated. Taking images or video against someone’s wishes, or for purposes of harassment or sexual exploitation (including unlawful activities such as “upskirting”), will result in confiscation of equipment, eviction from the site, and may lead to arrest.
18.5 Filming and photography are restricted or prohibited in certain areas, including but not limited to: welfare and medical areas, entry gates, security and police compounds, and all backstage areas.
18.6 Personal filming or photography of artist performances using phones or personal devices is permitted for private, non-commercial use only. Professional recording, live streaming, or broadcasting of performances is subject to the commercial approval requirements set out in Section 18.3.
18.7 Drone use on site is strictly prohibited at all times (before, during, and after the Festival) without the prior written approval of GemFest. Approved drone operators must comply with all applicable aviation law and any conditions set by GemFest.
19. SOCIAL MEDIA & COMPETITIONS
19.1 All competitions run by GemFest will include specific entry instructions. To qualify for the draw, entrants must follow the rules provided for each competition.
19.2 All entrants must be 18 years or over.
19.3 Each person is entitled to one entry per competition unless otherwise stated. Duplicate, automated, or multiple entries may be disqualified.
19.4 The competition closing date is final. Entries submitted after the published deadline will not be accepted.
19.5 Winners will be contacted by a member of the GemFest team within 28 days of the competition closing.
19.6 Prizes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
19.7 Winners must claim their prize within 7 days of notification and provide full name, email address, and postal address where required. Failure to do so may result in the prize being forfeited and another winner selected.
19.8 Winners will be selected by GemFest or its nominated representatives in accordance with the rules of the relevant competition. The decision is final.
19.9 GemFest reserves the right to cancel or amend any competition without prior notice.
19.10 GemFest staff, contractors, and close relations are not eligible to enter or win competitions run by GemFest.
19.11 Competitions run in partnership with third parties or via other media channels will also be subject to the terms and conditions provided at the time of entry.
19.12 Where competition prizes include festival tickets, they are valid only for the Event year stated unless otherwise specified. In the event of full festival cancellation, prize tickets may be rolled over to the following Event at GemFest’s discretion.
19.13 GemFest reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, misuse, abuse, or breach of competition rules.
